About the Author

Steve Shultz and his wife Derene founded The Elijah List in 1997, a web and email-based publication that currently goes to more than 300,000 people every day. Steve's heart is to encourage God's people, which he says "is the real heart and purpose of modern-day prophetic ministry."     Steve Shultz has a gift to teach and deepen the body of Christ's relationship with the Father in a very practical manner. The stories are easily related to everyone's level and experience. I found those light bulb experiences kept coming throughout the book.

    God has been speaking to me since I was 5 years old, even though I didn't grow up in church during my early childhood. I smiled as I read the book because I had experienced many of the same things. It was just so nice to read someone else's experiences and have confirmation that I had indeed heard from God many times, in many ways. I have always felt like most people think I'm a rather odd person with my unusual stories. Not so unusual after all, if we would just pay attention and listen.

    I had seen this book promoted on the Elijahlist for quite some time but, always hesitated to order it. My mistake in waiting!! I had the book read in 3 days as it truly opened my heart to the very simple Truths in scripture that Steve had revealed to him by God. My eyes, ears, and heart are open to hear God all the time now!!! Thanks Steve.

    Steve 's insight in hearing God helped me realize I have been hearing God in many ways and it has helped me to be more aware that I need to listen better and all the time. I don't want to miss out on what God is saying to me. I really liked this book and will order one for my daughter. Thank you Steve for writing this book.
