About the Authors

John Loren Sandford, like Jeremiah, was called before his birth to be a pastor and a prophet. Filled with the Holy Spirit in 1958, John grew in the knowledge and revelation that became the foundational keys for inner healing. Together with his first wife, Paula, he traveled around the world, teaching and administering inner healing prayer to the hidden depths of thousands of hearts. That work continues today through Elijah House, which they founded in 1973. When Paula went home to the Lord in May, 2012, John was miserable. But God, in His great goodness, sent Marte Pierson to love him back to life! They were married in September 2015, and together continued to serve the Lord until John ran into the arms of Jesus March 2018.

Mark Sandford is the Spiritual Director of Elijah House. Mark has been married to his wife, Maureen, since 1984, and they have 3 children. Their desire is that all who come to Elijah House will not only find healing, but also grow in the love God has for His children.

There are few evangelical biblical books on relations between Creation and believers. This is a big help to get the "big picture" on how humans could have related to the rest of Creation without the Fall. Since we own a home and land we can see the benefits of blessing the land and birds and animals.

I was only to page 10 when I said to my husband, "..because you garden...you need to read this!" But I encourage you ALL to read this book because we forget what a tremendous responsibility we have to this Earth and our GIVEN dominion over it. You will be blessed and it will awaken your responsibilities.

Amazing!

Amazing stories, but oh, so scripturaly sound and well written. Personally, I've known and understood much that is said, (yes, a "nature-loving person"), but there is so much beyond what we think we know. In the authors' words: "The earth, and mankind, both desperately need His healing and restoration..." With a repentant heart and transformed life we can help set nature free each in our own sphere until Jesus comes to completely set creation free. Praying that we come to that place of maturity in the Spirit.

Awesome Revelationary Book about God's Plan for Nature and Animals, not just Mankind!!!

This book offers great insight into God's redeeming plan for Nature and creation, as part of our covenant with Him. It gives one revelation on how we as believers, have authority, power and dominion over animals, pets, land and other objects as a natural part of the New Covenant, and shows how we can play our parts in this. There are not many published books that cover this part of the covenant. It was pleasure and joy to read, and put in a simple, easy to understand style. Thank you John and Elijah House!!!

A lot to take in and ponder on . I have always felt what they call global warming was from man's sins. with all the anger in this country no wonder we are having a lot of hurricanes, snow storms, and tornadoes.

This book is really eye opening! It is full of Scritures and well founded on the Bible. It illuminates the eyes of our heart to see an area that has been forgotten or pushed back, as God sees it. It awakens our sense of responsibility concerning nature, bringing us back to the initial order and purpose of Creation. This book is an absolute must-read, a gem to be received! A real blessing to me!
