How do I return an item?
The Elijah List Return Policy:We will accept product returns for STORE CREDIT or REFUND only after you have received authorization from us. Please e-mail us at support@elijahlist.net to receive a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number. You must include your full name, date of purchase, your order number, and the description of the product(s) you would like to return and the reason that you wish to return the item(s). The RMA number MUST BE written on the outside of the package you are returning. ANY ITEM(s) SENT BACK TO US WITHOUT PRIOR APPROVAL OR AN RMA NUMBER LISTED ON THE PACKAGE MAY BE DENIED ANY STORE CREDIT OR REFUND, depending on the circumstances and the condition of the returned items. A package received without prior authorization will not be sent back to you unless additional shipping and handling charges are paid. No product will be accepted for return more than 30 days from the date of purchase. After 30 days, there are no refunds, credits or exchanges, unless the item is defective (within 90 days -- see "Product Warranty" section below). Your return package must be postmarked within 30 days from the date the RMA number is issued to you.
All returns for REFUND are subject to a minimum 15% restocking fee (we will waive the restocking fees if you choose a STORE CREDIT instead of a refund) that will be deducted from the purchase price, depending on the condition of the returned item(s) and unless otherwise noted below (such as defective product). Original shipping/handling fees will not be refunded for any returns.
BOOKS: NO STORE CREDITS or REFUNDS on any book unless it is defective (see Product Warranty section below). If the book is defective, we will exchange it for the SAME TITLE only (or issue a store credit if the item is discontinued or no longer available).
CDs/DVDs/OTHER RECORDED MEDIA (includes teaching recordings): NO STORE CREDITS or REFUNDS (EXCEPT Music CD's where factory shrink-wrap is still intact). Exchange for SAME TITLE ONLY if defective. CDs/DVDs returned as defective where the alleged defect cannot be verified or duplicated by our equipment, or if item is damaged due to apparent misuse or neglect will not be replaced. If you would like us to send the item back to you, we will send it back to you at your expense. If the item IS defective, we will of course send you a new CD or DVD at our expense.
DOWNLOADABLE ITEMS: We CANNOT ISSUE STORE CREDITS or REFUNDS on any downloadable products, regardless of the reason.
eBooks are for downloading processes only and cannot be
reproduced in print or in any form. Many eBooks cannot be printed, even for personal use. These prohibitions are due to
copyright laws and royalty contracts. Security blocks will vary by the publisher of the e-book and are beyond our control.
ART PRINTS/POSTERS: No refunds. If item is defective or damaged in shipping, see Product Warranty section below.
BARGAIN BIN ITEMS: ALL SALES ARE FINAL on Bargain Bin items (items in which the price ends in .86). Item(s) will be exchanged or refunded ONLY IF THE ITEM IS DEFECTIVE for the same item, if available. If item is no longer available, store credit for amount paid will be issued.
GIFT CERTIFICATES: No refunds. Good for merchandise only. Any item purchased with a Gift Certificate will be refunded with a store credit that can be used on your next purchase.
GIFT ITEMS: Item must be in original, new condition, in original packaging, and complete including any instructions or illustrations. Examples include Calendars, Scarves, Shawls, and similar items. Anointing Oils and Perfumes ARE NOT RETURNABLE under any circumstance due to health and safety issues.
PRODUCT WARRANTY: All items we sell are covered by a 90 day warranty. If any product is defective within 90 days of your purchase, we will gladly exchange the item for the SAME EXACT ITEM at no cost to you. At our discretion, we may require you to return the defective product to us (we will reimburse you for return shipping) and the replacement will be sent to you after we receive the defective item. AFTER 90 DAYS from the date of purchase, there is no further warranty and we will no longer issue a replacement or exchange.
