- Delayed Shipments:
- The ElijahList is not responsible for late or misdirected shipments that do not arrive "on time". Once we ship your order using the shipping method that you select, the package(s) are then out of our control. We cannot reship your order or reimburse you for any delayed shipments, unless we made an error that caused the delay.
- Damaged Merchandise:
- If a package has been damaged in shipping and it is apparent when the package arrives, please REFUSE the delivery. If you have already accepted a package, and then discover that it has been damaged, call us immediately. We'll take it from there. Be sure to save all paperwork and packing material with the damaged goods. The carrier may wish to inspect it before processing the claim. Please do not return damaged-in-shipment merchandise yourself. It could keep you from receiving credit for the return.
- UPS Shipping:
- UPS orders DO NOT require customer signature upon delivery. If you are not available when your package is delivered, UPS will leave the package at your front door. YOU MUST CONTACT UPS to make any other arrangements! Once UPS has left the package at the address listed on the order, we are not liable for replacement of missing or stolen packages, and we cannot resend your order or issue any credit or refund on any portion of your purchase. WE RECOMMEND UPS SHIPPING (no PO Boxes) IF YOU WISH YOUR PACKAGE TO BE PROTECTED AND INSURED.
- U.S. Postal Service
- The U.S. Postal Service does not guarantee time in transit or provide tracking information. All listed shipping times are approximate. Orders shipped via US Postal Service are sent at the consumer's risk--The ElijahList is not liable for lost or mis-directed shipments.
- Shipping Time
- All order shipping times shown begin from the date the package leaves our warehouse in Albany, Oregon. Packages will be normally be shipped out within 3 business days, unless any items are out of stock. Shipping may take longer in this case. Once your order has been shipped, you should receive it within the timeframe that you chose for ship method.
- IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR International Orders:
- We use US Postal Service First Class Mail International or US Postal Service Priority Mail International for all orders shipped outside the USA. NO other choices for International orders are offered at this time.
We are not responsible for lost, stolen, damaged or redirected INTERNATIONAL orders and merchandise not received. We will not resend or refund these types of orders--you are ordering at your own risk.
Orders shipped outside the USA typically take 1 to 4 weeks for delivery, but it is not uncommon to see delivery times of 12 weeks or more. Please be aware of this when placing your order, as any shipping delays are outside of our control and we are unable to track your package or speed up the process.
Because The ElijahList ships to so many countries around the world, it is impossible for us to constantly keep up with the import and customs regulations and charges for each city, region and country. For this reason, please be advised that it is the responsibility of each of our international customers to be aware of the customs taxes, tariffs, and import duties for their particular region. We can let you know the cost to ship the items you ordered, but the customs taxes and import duties are your responsibility.
A few general notes:
- It is possible that you may have to pay additional customs charges and taxes--these are the responsibility of the customer, NOT The ElijahList.
- Since most countries outside the U.S. use a sales tax based taxation system, and with the rise of internet shopping, there has been a serious clamping down on international shipments getting through untaxed.
- It is also possible that you may have to pay a small brokerage or customs fee. In many countries, it is the only way to get the shipment across the border. These fees, if any, are also your responsibility.
- Occasionally, packages arrive opened, damaged, or with missing items. We are not able to control customs inspections or law enforcement/military inspections. We are not liable for any missing or damaged items, and we cannot replace or re-ship any such orders.
