A few years ago, a clay jar that carried the early Christian seal was excavated in Israel. This seal that features the Menorah, Star of David, and Fish is known as the early Christian sign. The sign, which contains the Menorah on top, the Star of David in the middle, and Fish on the bottom, is placed on the four corners of this shawl.

Inscribed on those same four corners of the shawl are the following verses:

• II Corinthians 5:21
• Matthew 14:35
• Malachi 4:2
• Isaiah 53:5

And, inscribed on the neckband in Hebrew is the following blessing:

"Blessed are you O' Lord King of the Universe who has fulfilled all of the law through Jesus the Messiah and have covered us with His Righteousness."
