David Van Koevering is President and Founder of Elsewhen Research, a non-profit corporation committed to serving our culture with scientific information that explains what the Bible claims.
David is a writer, lecturer, motivational speaker, visionary, musicologist, technologist, and inventor. David is respected internationally for his thirty-year contribution to developing and marketing advanced technology that has been applied to music and musical instruments. His laser optical memory retrieval disc systems were forerunners of today's CD, CD-ROM, and DVD technology. Together with Dr. Bob Moog, they presented to the world the first music synthesizers. He is personally responsible for presenting the Mini Moog, and he pioneered the performance music synthesizer industry and market worldwide. David also founded and served as Chairman of the Board of the Van Koevering Company—inventors and developers of the world's first interactive piano and online, touch screen, computer-enhanced music technology. The patent portfolio for the Van Koevering piano and interactive music technology has over 630 patent-protected concepts.
Furthermore, David and his wife, Becky, present public and television performances of the Science of Sound and History of Music on their collection of more than 250 rare and unusual musical instruments.
