He reached down from on high and took hold of me; He drove me out of deep waters. He rescued me from my powerful enemy, from my foes, who were too strong for me (Psalm 18:16-17).
"When I started this project, I began by asking the Lord what His heart was for this CD. It was then that I heard 'I want to know your heart for this CD.' And with that revelation, I was set free. These songs are my heart. Most were recorded live and spontaneously, with no musical preparation beforehand. Intercession and prophetic song are woven into each one. I pray the Lord will bless you, release you, and bring you closer to His heart as you listen. I pray the deep passion found in His heart would cry out and beckon you to the deep. Oh Father! Thank You, that You reached down and took hold of us! Now we are gratefully Yours!"

 Peter Spencer is known for his soft and intimate approach to the Lord through soaking worship and his wild unabandoned praise that breaks through barriers to true intimacy with God. His music has been said to reach the generations, bringing the old to the new and the new to the old. He has a heart to see unity and love in the body of Christ, under the umbrella of true passionate and heart-filled worship to the Lord. He has led worship in various churches for the past 17 years and is currently a worship leader at Albany Vineyard Christian Fellowship in Albany, Oregon. He and his wife, Debra, reside in Albany with their 4 children.
