The Door Is Open is a journey through the open door of Revelation 4:1, into the high and the deep; a cross-genre prophetic soaking and worship experience flowing through psalmist and worship leader Kathryn Marquis. With a voice like golden honey, and lyrics that resonate within the soul and spirit-man, the listener is transported to both the depths of the human condition and unseen realms of mystery and grace.
The album's flagship song, "Mystery," invites the worshiper to set aside soulish experience and rise up in the identity of Christ within, the hope of Glory. "Third Heaven Revelation" is Kathryn's unrehearsed, unedited retelling of a profound vision experience in worship, while the psalmist's "Soul Cry" is a true Davidic testimony of being rescued and restored. "Beautiful" was originally a spontaneous prophetic song, and was recorded in one take as the Presence of Jesus invaded the vocal booth.
This debut recording from Kathryn Marquis is more than a CD; it is an experience of the Lord, saturated with His presence, His glory, and His heart.

 Kathryn Marquis is an itinerant worship leader, conference speaker, psalmist and prophetic voice whose mandate and passion is Psalm 40:3 ("He has put a new song in my mouth, a song of praise unto our God, that many would SEE and FEAR and put their trust in the LORD"). Her heart is to raise up, equip and release a generation of "little Davids" who will go deep with their God, and bind up the brokenhearted.
