A fervent worshipper, Lillis Boyer is on staff with the International House of Prayer in Kansas City, Missouri, where she ministers on worship teams as a prophetic musician (flautist and keyboardist) and prophetic ministry teams. Her artwork is frequently on display there, and the bookstore can hardly keep her prints in stock. Churches and houses of prayer all over the world have purchased her works, and feature them in their sanctuaries and prayer rooms.
Lillis, who not only has been gifted with an artistic talent, but also flows in the prophetic and seer anointing, has a passion for creating pictures and digital images that stir the heart. Her favorite media is digital art and photography. She "paints" with the computer mouse, using her favorite digital art software. "I love the flexibility of digital media, it lends itself to capturing the supernatural and ethereal dimension. Also, due to rheumatoid arthritis in my hands and wrists, painting with a computer mouse is much more comfortable than holding a paintbrush for long hours!"
Minoring in art in college, Lillis taught high school art for six years. But since coming into a more intimate relationship with her Bridegroom, thanks to the teachings of the bridal paradigm, the Spirit has re-awakened and redefined her artistic gifting, and now she loves allowing the prophetic gifting within her to merge with and direct her artistic renderings.
"Sometimes the Lord will just direct me to take a picture of this or that, and I have no idea at the time why. But later, often while worshipping to music at my computer, His spirit will lead me in adding artistic effects to a simple picture, and thus create a prophetic piece of art that is a visual representation of a Scripture, vision, or encounter I have had with the Lord."
Lillis resides in Kansas City, with her husband of thirty-two years. She has two grown children who are both artists. She has a heart for and a call to the nations, and has ministered both in Africa and Australia, and is hoping the profits from the sales of her art will finance many more missions trips to other nations!
