Description About the Author

Bianca Corrotti's vineyard is more than a piece of mouth-watering real estate in Tuscany. It's an inheritance; a storehouse harboring the secrets of her Uncle Egisto, a world-class sculptor, and his troubled wife—a woman whose destiny converges with Mussolini's when WWII overtakes them all. Based on a true story, Bianca's Vineyard follows a devoted family of strong-willed men and lion-hearted women waging an epic battle against a gathering storm intent on destroying their lives.

Bianca’s Vineyard, written by our very own Teresa Neumann, reporter for Breaking Christian News, is now available to our subscribers. This book, which reads like a gripping epic movie, is perfect for those who love to read, want something unique, or are difficult to buy for.

"Bianca's Vineyard is a lush family epic full of realistic, loveable people that you will come to know and care about deeply. The setting is engrossing, the dialogue as real as overheard conversations. Prepare to stay up late with a bowl of pasta and a glass of Chianti. You won't want to set this book down."
Sandra Byrd, bestselling author of Let Them Eat Cake and the forthcoming Ladies in Waiting series

"Teresa Neumann weaves an unforgettable true tale of passion, love and legacy, set against the gripping backdrop of World War II Italy. Bring it with you everywhere—it won't let you go."
—Julie Talbot, editor, Portland, Oregon

"Bianca's Vineyard is an incredible story that that grabbed me from the beginning. I was captivated by the characters and didn't want to put the book down! I loved the life lessons weaved throughout and the emotion it evoked in me on so many different levels. A true classic that I hope to see on the big screen someday!"
—Kim Hoyer, Brownsville, Or.

"I just finished Bianca's Vineyard and loved it! I highly recommend this book and I will be buying several copies for gifts. I'm not a history buff, but I admittedly enjoy a good historical fiction such as this. It's about love, family, hardship, war, and bonds that survive the trials of life. This book will lift you up and transport you to Tuscany, Italy during WWII where you'll meet the Bertozzi family, up close and personal. The book follows this real family in Italy and in the U.S., as one member immigrates to Minnesota. I was profoundly moved by the level of intimacy provided into the Bertozzis' lives and captivated by the colorful descriptions detailing the geography, emotions, and wartime events the author weaves into the story. So much so, it was difficult to put the book down and go to bed. A must read in my opinion."
—Laura Vandello, Boulder, CO.

San Francisco Review gives Bianca's Vineyard 5 stars: "When you reach the end, you will have read a story of redemption and reconciliation that any family could be proud to tell."
—Ross Rojek, The San Francisco Review

A Great Read! September 5, 2012
Reviewer: Adl2614 from Goodreads.com
This book is full of realistic and unimaginable detail; you know this is coming from a true background. The highlights and climaxes come and go, and there's so many you're overwhelmed with feelings you feel for the characters, however it all wraps itself into one big beautiful story of what family is really about. This book is about family. It's about the tragedies and heart-wrenching truths that can befall only the closest of families, not to mention while being in the eye of the storm of a great war, and yet it's also about the bond of true blooded family, the honor and pride of a family, and the it's also about the remedy that only a true family bring to make ones life go from hopeless to bright.  Detail was poured into this story to make all readers feel and understand what each character felt and you can't help but relate or sympathize. A great read.

Couldn't put it down! September 5, 2012
Reviewer: Jean Moss
This book took me in right from the first page. It is so well written that I felt like I was there. I couldn't put it down and read well into the night to finish it and then was sad it was over, I wanted to keep reading about this family. I am an instant fan of Teresa's writing and can't wait for her to write another book. I love the way she writes, it's like she is personally telling me the story. I loaned it to my mother who is 84 yrs.old and she read it in one day and said it was one of the best books she has read also. I have given this book as gifts and everyone feels the same way. I highly recommend this book for all ages. THANK YOU TERESA!!!!!

Bianca's Vineyard September 5, 2012
Reviewer: Aimee Herd-Editor, Breaking Christian News from Albany, OR United States
Once I began reading “Bianca’s Vineyard” by Teresa Neumann, I realized this was going to be a virtual journey to Italy-back-in-time, as well as a delightfully personal window into the intricate lives of actual relatives of the author.  Since Teresa is a co-worker, I was already aware of her writing ability, however this was the first fictional work I’d read of hers and I was beyond pleasantly surprised. Her characters—so vividly described and real—and the circumstances that unfolded in their lives made it nearly impossible to put this book down.  I highly recommend Teresa’s first novel, Bianca’s Vineyard, to anyone who loves to get lost in a wonderful and well-written story.  And, I am eagerly awaiting a sequel!
