Readers of Bianca's Vineyard are ultimately dying to know more of the true story the book is based on. "Behind the Scenes of Bianca's Vineyard" is a two-part, 35-minute DVD which includes an account by author Teresa Neumann of the facts behind the provocative plot, as well as an interview with one of the book's key characters, Violenza "Babe" Bertozzi Neumann. Learn how Bianca's Vineyard was written and hear straight from Babe's own mouth details of her parents' lives and her childhood in St. Paul, Minnesota.
"I just finished Bianca's Vineyard and loved it! I highly recommend this book and I will be buying several copies for gifts. I'm not a history buff, but I admittedly enjoy a good historical fiction such as this. It's about love, family, hardship, war, and bonds that survive the trials of life. This book will lift you up and transport you to Tuscany, Italy during WWII where you'll meet the Bertozzi family, up close and personal. The book follows this real family in Italy and in the U.S., as one member immigrates to Minnesota. I was profoundly moved by the level of intimacy provided into the Bertozzis' lives and captivated by the colorful descriptions detailing the geography, emotions, and wartime events the author weaves into the story. So much so, it was difficult to put the book down and go to bed. A must read in my opinion." —Laura Vandello, Boulder, CO.
Teresa Neumann and her musician husband live in Oregon's beautiful Willamette Valley with their three children. As well as being an author, reporter, and journalist, Teresa loves to fiddle on her violin and live la dolce vita in Italy whenever she can talk her family into it. Bianca's Vineyard is her debut novel.
